WHAT WE’RE ABOUT

Our Mission

We are about bringing awareness to women’s health conditions with thoughtful communications that encourages empathic and informed dialogue with women living with these conditions.

Giving back to the community, one product at a time.

We believe raising awareness about health conditions will help support both women living with health challenges and their loved ones manage their mental wellbeing. We want to diffuse the stigma of any women’s health condition by approaching it with compassion. Having a condition shouldn’t mean having a deficiency, rather it should be accepted as simply another aspect of life.

Our intention is not to make light of serious conditions or be insensitive, but approach it with empathy that is encouraging without being demeaning. The more people that are informed, the more conversations will be had and we hope it will contribute to a more connected world.

Hold on…wait, what?

Having a health condition isn’t fun you say? Well who needs to be reminded about how difficult it is, how physically demanding it is and how mentally straining it can be. Building a support network only takes a shift in mindset, an open mindset that is not held back by preconceived ideas of normality.

We just want to raise awareness and have fun while spreading happiness.

Our Products

We take pride in sourcing quality products and pairing that with the most suitable printing techniques, ensuring high customer satisfaction. Our designs are purposely kept minimalistic as we want to keep our ideas simple and clear.

Less is more, in our opinion.

Fun fact

The 3 in our brand is to remind us that all good things come in 3s. We also deliberately chose the quokka for our logo as a symbol of happiness since it is known as the happiest marsupial in the world.

Most importantly, quokkas are also native to Perth in our home land, Australia.

OUR STORY

Where did our journey begin? How did ART3SAN come to life? We’ve had a few people ask about our story and for the longest time, we didn’t know how to put it in words. It’s taken a while but here’s our story, as best as we can describe. Let me start by telling you a bit about myself to set the scene. My name is San and I am a sonographer. I’m proud to be part of a patient’s health journey, whether it’s helping to show new mothers their baby for the first time or scanning peculiarities associated with different health conditions. (Yes, sonographers scan more than just babies. We scan a wide range of weird and wonderful things on almost any body part you can think of!).

OUR PASSIONATE TEAM

We believe that the best ideas are born from passion, artisanship and fun. Our team may be small but we’ve got big dreams and lots of love to share with everyone. Come meet the team and let us tell you some of the important things we care about.

Thinking about a brighter tomorrow

I am well known for being a fun-loving sister, a cheeky cookie and a notorious night owl. I am passionate about women's health and extremely grateful that I am able to raise awareness through work. As founder of ART3SAN, I hope our team will continue to deliver joy, kindness, connection and awareness to everyone we reach.

One of the causes I am invested in is PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). It is a topic close to my heart and that is why we have decided to launch in September for PCOS awareness month. Despite PCOS being a common condition, not many actually know about it. I hope this topic will be more widely known so that we can be more mindful of all the “cysters” that are suffering from this condition.

All about positive vibes

I’m a person of all sorts, - a maker, a dreamer, chronic procrastinator to name few, but in essence I love to explore new ideas and just make things. I helped to build the brand and creative direction by encouraging light-heartedness fun, while upholding our playful approach to well-being.

I am passionate about bringing awareness to issues associated to mental health. With so many contributing factors, targeting everything at once is impossible. I believe starting small, by just making people smile a little bit more would make a world of difference. If what we stand for helps anyone in any shape or form I would consider it a success.

Being happy never goes out of style

I oversee the marketing and logistics side of ART3SAN. My favourite thing to do is checking out new food places. I’d like to think I’m a foodie despite being a choosy eater! I enjoy running in my spare time and I can be easily spotted at local bouldering gyms. My favourite motto is, “If you’ve got a body, you’re an athlete”.

I am most passionate about raising awareness and understanding for cardiovascular diseases. My goal is to reduce people’s chances of getting a stroke and to also help people identify symptoms earlier. Over time, I aim to focus more attention onto healthy eating and exercise to help others prevent premature heart disease. Hopefully this will help reduce the prevalence of severe heart conditions. Let’s all unite to build awareness.

Mind / Matter

Queries on your order? Not sure what size to get? Look no further, as I am your friendly neighbourhood ART3SAN assistant. I love a good laugh and food is my favourite friend.

Mental wellbeing has been a significant part of my story for the last year or so, and I am now an advocate for all that is a healthy headspace. I am sure we all have had times when we're low and in need of a lift in spirit. Taking 3 deep breaths and using that window to be present can be helpful in grounding ourselves. Simple meditation routines just like that can really help my mind stay calm. So what are you waiting for? Come join me in spreading mental awareness together, today!
